The writing definitely improved from the first book to this one. It flows much better, and it definitely has unexpected moments that surprised me! Love it when stories are not predictable... and this one definitely throws a curve ball no one saw coming!
I really liked that Charline is a strong independent woman, a far cry from the shy young girl we first meet. She definitely gives Aleck a run for his money...
I am dying to read the next book, about Gabe!

Another awesome book by Bella Jewel!The story begins with a tragedy... and ending for Aria and her family... heartache and pain. You live through Arias eyes as she continues on with her life as her Mother remarries and Aria gets an Insta-Family... she gets a wonderful father figure and some step-brothers... OH WAIT.. it's Bella Jewel.. there has to be a little twist right?? oh yeah! Aria had a weekend with Blade... who turns out to be her future step brother!!! HOLY SHEEP!!
what do you do?? continue the Ro-Lust-Mance??? Do you ignore him?? does he become a jerk?? What will your parents say when they find out?? holy hell!! and holy Hotness that is Blade!

AMAZING.... Ok.. I have digested this incredible story for a little bit now, and I will string a few words together... I know I won't do it justice.. but I will try.
In How to Knock a Bravebird from Her Perch (Morrow Girls #1), We were taken through the emotional journey of "Pecan" Morrow. A young woman who due to tragic circumstances is married quickly to Ricky Morrow, an up and coming fighter, and an up and coming abuser.
She has 4 precious girls with Ricky... FOUR precious little girls who along with their mother had to endure his wrath.
In Blue Sky, the story continues immediately after the end of How to Knock a Bravebird from Her Perch (Morrow Girls #1). I truly loved this.. In this book Pecan is Married to Heziah, and they have their girls. The main focus is on the Morrow Girls, Nikki, Jackie and Mya. You get glimpses into their lives while they were not with their momma, but the most important is that you get to really know them individually... their weeknesses and their strengths. Their brave personalities as lost little girls and the mistakes and bad choices that ultimately come from that.
You get to grow with them and are a part of their family, their individuality, their first loves and their heartaches. These girls are broken, and try as Pecan might.. they are LOST. I want to give you so many details and spoilers so that you can see the intricacies of their lives and the destiny that ultimately became their lives.. but I won't.. I need you to dive into this book and experience the happiness, sadness, frustration and tears just as I did.
I look forward to the next installment by D. Bryant Simmons... hopefully SOOOOON!!

After days of mourning the ending of this book... I still feel I can not move forward from this story, from the HELL OF AN ENDING that it has!!Seriously.. i feel like a fish on land.. I can't breathe!!! I gasped so loud at the end of this story that I have forgotten how to inhale life saving oxygen!!

What can you expect by a Hart Saint Germain collaboration??!! A whole lot of an intense f***ed up ride!!! One you never want to get off of....This story was dirty and Hot and characters that were just beyond the norm of crazy... crazy by birth... crazy by circumstance... you have a mafia Princess, overlords, kidnaps, bodyguards, assassin kingpin brothers... beotches tied to beds with toys up their... yeah there... you get insane fight scenes... a mingling of people so separate in life yet all tired together in a really small effed up world that is the insanity of Hart Saint Germain... all I can say is hang on for the ride...
